About MichaelMichael Onas Biography: Michael Onas is a San Francisco based music producer and DJ. Born and raised in Nigeria, his early music production and DJ career started in Lagos where he was exposed to live performances by various local talents including King Sunny Ade, Ebenezer Obey, Victor Olaiya, Bobby Benson, Dele Abiodun and Fela Kuti. He was also influenced by both local and international music variety shows on radio and televison at the time, namely Beach Comber, Soul Train and radio mix shows hosted by legendary Nigerian DJ's Patrick Oke and J.A.J (Jacob Akinyemi Johnson). Michael Onas's style is genre defying, funky, tribal and deep. He is comfortable spinning everything from world beat, house, dance-hall, hip-hop, 70's, 80's, 90's and current top hits.
